Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve

The Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve & Learning Center is located in the backyard of Terra Mar, a Hogan Homes master-planned community on the Southside of Corpus Christi. Hogan Homes has focused its development efforts on communities that highlight the Coastal Bend area’s natural features. For Terra Mar, Hogan Homes sought out a way to protect and preserve the adjacent wetlands along Oso Bay, leading to the donation of  significant resources towards the land purchase for the Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center.The Preserve is a 162-acre nature preserve that is filled with the wonders of our natural world. Explore the 4 miles of nature-viewing trails and walk away with a newfound understanding of why it’s so important to protect our community’s wetlands for future generations to enjoy.
